The steering committee of the Teaching American History grant is pleased to offer "Telling Our Story," a professional development conference designed especially for elementary, middle, and high school history teachers.  The conference will be held at Chester Middle School (Chester, SC) from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13th.  Registration will take place the morning of the conference, from 8:30-9:00 a.m.  Sarge & Crew catering will provide lunch (chicken, mac-n-cheese, green beans, etc.).

Our keynote address will be delivered by Ann Bay, Director of Education for George Washington’s Mount Vernon.  Her lecture will look at the leadership characteristics of American presidents....a timely topic only weeks before our national election.
