Why don't the US send Abrams tanks if it will win the war? This is a US proxy war using Ukranian blood. You are sending some hi tech weapons in Ukraine that Russia is blowing up. If you send nuclear weapons, Russia will not stop you but they will also blow it up with a nuclear weapon I suppose. Russia said that they will win this war. What is your response to stop it? Don't forget that Russia's goal is to demilitarize Ukraine, and the US goal is regime change in Russia. In short Russia will annihilate the Ukrainian army until they lay down their arms and denatzify the government, and on the other hand US will eliminate Putin and replace him with their crony. Two dominating ideas that is in play now that affects every economy, and life on this planet. These politicians should find a way to settle this conflict on the table and agree on a cease fire solution. The change in the Russians military leadership is a signal that they are raising the bar of this military operation with the sole purpose of winning the war regardless of the destruction of Ukraine, because Ukraine already admitted that they are fighting this proxy war for NATO. Russia consider that as an existential threat to Russia's security, therefore very serious actions should involved the elimination of the threat. NATO and the US is now stepping on a very explosive ground. Just saying.
Germany should remember when the USA and NATO had American tanks against Russian tanks in Berlin. Now Germany does not want to see German tanks facing Russian tanks attacking Ukraine. Germany fails when it counts.

There are hundreds if not thousands of recently decommissioned Cold War Era tanks in storage in Western Countries, unwrap 300 of them and get them to Ukraine. The M60 is the first example of a example of this, but not the only one.
I think it is only a matter of time. First, all the other countries will send there Leopard tanks while in the background Germany ramps up production. A good cop bad cop strategy within the allies. Make the Russians believe that there is disagreement among the allies and slowly grind Russia down over the next year or two.

I don't think Zelensky can understand why America don't just throw anyone who opposes sending tanks to Ukraine into jail. Its what he would do to anyone who dissented in Ukraine (actually worse). That's democracy, Zelensky style….

Ruzzia may suck at conducting war, but that is matched by how Europe suck at spending money and placing orders for military gear.
So Germany should match UK tank for tank and send 14 Leopard 2 tanks and wait. And inform Britain that 50 Challengers will be replied by 50 Leopards. 100 by 100. And 200 Challenger's by 200 Leopards. It's Britain which is being a mule and blocking supplies to Ukraine. And so too the M1 Abrams from USA.

If the Germans will not step up, then why not get the Merkava for Ukraine? The US I am sure could sort a deal with Israel and it could be much better than the Leopard. It has much higher survivability than the Leopard, and is easier maintain and support logistically than the Abrams.
Why every time this so called western channels is worrying about this so called leopard 2 tanks ..where as Russian captured another city from Ukrainian in eastern side of the donesk region…and city called klishchivka…and just in recent NATO briefing they got an information that in Bhakhmut region on a daily basis hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers is dying but comedian zelensky and his military advisor is living in a another dimensions….for them everything is going right….they are winning…this so called western channels think that they can hide actual truth of battlefield from the world but they are not aware that there are many countries in this world who are neutral in this war and they provide news from both sides..yesterday one the former IS navy seal commando was killed in Bhakhmut but when i checked US news channels they are not even bother to recognize the sacrifice of that person…no discussion…busy in discussing about tanks..thank god on we got this news from white house daily briefing…
